I have to admit, Maine has some really confusing estate tax laws (but wait until I get to Nebraska inheritance taxes next week - yikes!). And while I practiced in Maryland up until early 2004 and am familiar with its inheritance and estate tax issues, Maryland changed its estate tax laws in 2006 which has had a dramatic impact on how estate tax planning is done for Maryland residents. Aside from this, I've been busy adding some new information about funding Revocable Living Trusts.
